My 9'0 Longboard

This is the longboard that I ride. I thought that I'd put this one up too. I modeled this one from several different boards. The nose shape is from a Robert August (Summer Classic). There is also a channel on the bottom straight through the nose to about the middle. That idea was from a McTavish. I like diamond tails so I thought it'd be nice on there. Set up is a 2+1 so I can ride it in some bigger surf using side bite fins and a 7" center fin. But the Pivot fin (shown) is great for cruising and nose riding. Cut lapped resin tint that is Coke bottle green. The board bears both old and the newer "65" logos. The board is a great paddling board and is light. I used 4oz cloth oppose to a more standard 6oz or 8oz cloth. Competition longboards often are glassed lighter, I compete in ESA (Eastern Surfing Association) and wanted a lighter board and this one is perfect. The downside is, that it will not last as long as a longboard with a heavier glassing. So one should consider that before ordering this type of board.
